NO TURNING BACK

Today is my 26 b-day. I have been a little depressed to be over the 25 hill mark in my life. BUT as we all do we age and I guess I will live and get over it. This last weekend was very special to me. Aside from going to Old fashion day at UBC and seeing alot of old friends and then having a wonderful dinner at my mother-in-laws in honor of my b-day and my husbands grandpa....Sunday afternoon was a spiritual step in my journey of life. I had the honor of being baptized. As I had been praying the weeks before that God would allow this step be very special and not just a mere "dunking under water". He proved Himself true and allowed HIS SPIRIT to be felt. My husband, Caroline Robbins, Peter and Elizabeth Dennis along with an older woman Esther...and another dear "sister" Judy Alcorn were also baptised. It was a special day for all of us...and I never knew how special or monumental it could be. Maybe I am making more of it than I should. But I am so happy to be serving Jesus and to be able to take this public step to tell everyone around me and mostly the devil that I am in this for the long haul. "No turning back, no turning back" I love Jesus with all my heart and it has been an adventure serving Christ. Anyone who says Christians live a boring life......never really got the victory. My heart overflows with love and praise for my Master, Father and my VERY BEST FRIEND. I would love to hear from some of you and your baptismal experiences.

Happy Birthday!! Being over 25 isn't that bad! I don't feel much different now than I did a couple years ago and 30 keeps sounding younger all the time!! :-)

God bless as you keep following Him!

Happy birthday! Time flies; seems like I was just hearing about your 25th. Just remember that age has more to do with an attitude. I always say that you are as old as you act and feel. Ummm. . .except when you are pregnant! Right now I walk like a 90 year old and feel like a 200 year old. Ha. In a few weeks I'll be thirty again.
Enjoyed your testimony; you certainly are on the right track. I remember when I was baptized in the days of the big and poofy hair. . . My dad informed me that they were going to hold my head under the water for a long time to make sure the inside of my poof was wet! :-)
