Thanksgiving 2008

Ok, I know I am getting horrible about keeping this blog up. But lately I am so exhausted.

We had Thanksgiving at Jonathan's grandparents for the first time this year. We had a wonderful meal...and a good time playing a few games of Skip-bo and Dominoes.

Katie and Devan got to break the wish bone. It took them a few times and Katie being a girly girl thought it was pretty slimy. (Katie is Jonathan's Aunt Debbie's little girl....so it's his cousin. They adopted her as a baby or as a toddler. We don't get to see her very much at all.)

Devan enjoying one of my many Pumpkin Rolls. (after all of the rolls I made...I think I may have ate 1 piece.)

I think he really liked it!!!
After getting up early on the day after Thanksgiving and going to work for 4 hours. We then hit a few stores for some Christmas shopping. I wanted to get up and go early...but decided not to. Then that evening Jesse Hales came over and we went out for dinner. Then we hung out the rest of the evening and played games and talked alot. He is headed to Haiti at the end of Jan. He will be there for 2 years. Please pray for him as he is still lacking about 30% of his support that he needs. But he is trusting God and is so excited to get over there and live out his Passion.
Saturday we had family pictures taken with my family. (which I will post later) And then we had dinner with mom and dad, Brandon, Justin, Tasha and Maddie.
Maddie even got her "eats" in!!! Uncle Brandon enjoys spoiling her when he is home from college.

We are a big game playing family. So Dad went and got a new game called "Imagine If..." It was alot of fun...and we had alot of laughs.
