Wow, is what I have to say about this last weekend. My cousine Regina and her husband Jason, Jonathan and I headed out to Gatlinburg, Tenn late Friday evening. We got to our GORGEOUS cabin around midnight. Jonathan quickly took advantage of the hot tub and soaked off a weekes worth of stress in a matter of an half hour or so. Our master suite was beautiful with a nice jacuzzi with a big picture window looking down the wooded moutain.
After a good nights sleep, we enjoyed the hot jacuzzi, where Jonathan put to many bubbles, but brought alot of laughs!!!!
We headed out to Applebarns resteraunt. M-m-m is all I can say about their apple fritters!!!!! After we got our bellies full. We decided to see if we could fill our heads with knowledge or use our imaginations and went to a Christian book store. Where Jon and I indulged and spent a little to much $$$. Then finally we went to a store of all stores A SCRAPBOOK CLEARANCE STORE!!!! Much to our husbands dismay!!! But we were good wives, and how could they argue with everything in the store being 50% off. How could they argue our bargin skills??? They didn't and allowed us to shop to our heart (or more less wallets) content. We did go shopping a little more. and got some wonderful ice cream. The weather was beautiful and we were able to get some great pictures. Jonathan, Jay and I went go-carting. Yours truly was the winner, but only because Jason allowed me to catch up and Jonathans car went "Putt-putt-putt all the way home" Then we went back to the cabin for a relaxing afternoon watching an DVD while Regi quilted away.
Finally for supper we went to Park Grill. Which was great food. Jonathan ended the night quite sick, sorry for me. So Regi and I enjoyed some "Girl talk" out in the hot tub.
Sunday was a sad day, GOING HOME, was in all our minds. Although Jay and Jonathan said they were staying all week long. We decided to Worship the Lord at a New Hope church. Very different, but we all came out of the service being touched spiritually.
All in all it was a great weekend. Thank you Regi for being our main planner. We so enjoyed you and Jay's company!!! We luv you!!!

It's a new year
Ok I realize that Janurary is almost thru and I have had minor things that has not allowed me to blog. Namely "just being to lazy to do it" and do to the fact that I like the laptop better and Jonathan put passwords on our log in. And I didn't know mine and I knew better then to wake him and by the time all this went thru my head I was to worn out to think about blogging on the office computer.
Well I thought I would share my list of NEW Years Reselutions.....Not that you care and no one has permission to get after me for not keeping them. I mean after all most people break theirs, that is why I like to make several so at least if I keep half of them I did accomplish something.
ANYHOW>>>
Here is my list.
1. Finish reading my bible thru by the end of August. (this is something I have never done and so want to do.)
2. Get at least 20 books read this year.
3. Send more cards to people on b-days, ann., encouragement etc.
4. Lose 2o to 30 lbs. (this is a yearly ritual.)
5. Be more organized.
6. Pray more
7. Be a better wife. (that includes keeping my house cleaner.)
9. Draw closer to God
10. Get caught up on my scrapbooking.
So maybe I will give up dates later.
Also to those who keep up with my bloging. The answeres to my uncles Mad Gab phrases are:
"them are puppies, them are not puppies. Oh yes they are puppies. See them pee"
and
"I am retarded"
Happy New year to all. I hope this year is filled with many blessings and many happy memories. May the lessons you learn be pleasent and for the ones that aren't may you find spiritual and physical growth as you get thru them. May God Bless
