9 weeks and counting!!!!

Well, for an update, for those who care, I am about 9 weeks along. I am just starting to have any kind of belly at all. I have actually lost about 16 lbs!!! (boy if I knew getting prego would do this I would have done it long ago. JUST KIDDING!! It is just a trick for all the weight that is to come.)
I think I look bigger than what I really am in this picture. But mom got me this shirt from Motherhood for my b-day. Well we found that Motherhood shirts run a bit smaller...so I wanted to make sure and get my wear out of this shirt, because i just love it. And it is in style to, at least in Womans wear it is. I guess I am just so excited to be pregnant. I don't really want to gain alot of weight, and HOPEFULLY with good discipline and wise eating I don't plan to.
Thankfully I have not been bowing down before the "White Throne", but I have been VERY queasy pretty much all the time. But bond and determined not to throw-up!!!!!! My appetite is alot smaller. I am finding that I love mashed potatoes and sherbert. (NOT TOGATHER) I also can hardly do anything Grape flavored. It is getting better or I am getting used to it one. I hope to only have a few more weeks of this, so that is a blessing. I am just hoping my appetite will stay smaller. (probably will not happen)

Went to the doctor last week and everything seems fine. I go next month to hear the heartbeat. I am so excited.
I had to include a new picture of my little Maddie. She will be 1 month Wednesday!!! Look how chubby she is getting! I just lover her!

A relaxing fun weekend

I had Friday off and this is what I did. Jon had it off too....so I didn't get as much done as i would have. But we had a wonderful weekend.

This one I still have to get one more picture printed out. The one I had I didn't care for on the page.

Jenn and Phils weekend in June @ our house.

This was alot of what we did on Saturday.....played lots of UNO, Skip-bo, Checkers and Rumicube (sp? A game with Numbered tiles.) I lost most of the games...except UNO!!!!!
Jay and Regi stopped by to show us their Vacation pics. We had a good time laughing and talking. Regi and I have been very close for years. She puts up with all my blondeness...of course she has some of her own moments. I know we will be making more memories as we get older and will only become closer. LOVE Ya REGI!!!!! I am so glad God made us family! (and Jay your great too!!!)

Phil's idea to tone down the girly decorations. Let's just say it didn't stay around long. But for all those giving up a weekend of hunting to come to the wedding it would have been a nice touch.

God is watching over you!!!!

Times like today...make me greatful that I am a child of God, and that I have an Heavenly Father watching out for me. As alot of you know I am a court runner for a law firm downtown. I walk to the city county building everyday. Well I was getting ready to cross at a cross walk...it was blinking red but still showed I had 13 or 15 secs or so. So I knew I had plenty of time to get to the other side. As I was walking I saw a big van waiting to turn onto my road. I assumed that it was waiting on the pedestrians to cross. All the sudden I saw it coming very fast RIGHT AT ME!!!! I was so scared that I couldn't hardly think. I started walking very fast sideways because I didn't think if I walked forward that I could get out of its way. The van slammed on its breaks. when it got stopped I could have reached my arms out straight and touched the grill. NEEDLESS to say I was very shook up. The guy did stop his Direct Tv van and get out to see if he had hit me. He seemed pretty shook up. But he made me feel like I was in the wrong. He kept saying "the cross walk was red...and I had the right to go. You came out of nowhere." I was shaking so bad I could hardly talk. I wanted to scream at him....Yeah a BLINKING RED LIGHT WITH NUMBERS COUNTING DOWN MEANS I STILL HAVE A RIGHT OF WAY!!!!!! But I didn't say anything, other than when he asked if I was ok. I told him, "yes, my heart is just beating really fast." I am sure I scared him too, I would have freaked him out even more if he knew I was pregnant but I didn't feel the need to share that info. As I walked away I started crying and thanking God for his complete and total protection on me and my baby. It took many more time of me breaking down and crying for me to get over it. (all theses hormones) And I still am a little rattled. But boy am I glad that I have a great big God watching out for me.

Ok, now that is over here are a few more pics of Maddie. (these are from Nana's aka my mom's camera)nice and cozynana loving on her first (of hopefully several) grandbabysA sleeping princessDaddy getting his time in.
